Supernatural’s Metallicar Tribute [Video]

What’s big, black and shiny with all the right junk in it’s trunk? For once, we’re not talking about the Williams sisters. We’re talking about a 60s midsize sedan with razor-slotted mags that, if it had two less doors, would be considered a muscle car. If you’re into cars at all, then you know that by-and-large, the four door models are less desirable than their two door counterpart. That is, except on this site, because there are more 4-door Brohams in history than the “business coupe” versions… And, as you know, we at Broham Nation like to roll LARGE! Today, we’re gonna talk about one of the baddest Brohams in recent memory, from the cult TV hit Supernatural comes the ’67 Chevy Impala lovingly known as The Metallicar. While technically not really a broham, we don’t know a brutha who wouldn’t want this bad boy in their garage. It’s got that rumble to it, letting everyone know it’s not to be messed with. The ample back seat allows for a quick nap or a quick hookup with the local talent. And, that infamous trunk with the false bottom containing all the goodies necessary to kill off the entire Twilight cast. Below are two tribute videos, done quite well and worth a watch. Be sure to check out the Metallicar Gallery as well.

This is the first real video tribute from 2008, the musical choice seems sparked from Dean’s clean-cut 50s look.

So, what if you wish your Metallicar tribute actually had some metal as the musical selection? Well, this one has some spectacular footage against one of the cheesiest of rock anthems, Bon Jovi’s “Wanted Dead or Alive,” but it somehow seems supremely appropriate. The only thing better would be a song from the ‘Crue or Poison, if not Metallica.
